Meeting of the Chief of Defense Staff of Italy with the Chief of Army Staff
According to a statement issued by the Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), the visiting Chief of Defense Staff of the Italian Armed Forces Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone met with Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ. During the meeting, issues of mutual interest, regional security situation and enhancing military cooperation in counter-terrorism areas including training issues were discussed.
On the occasion, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that Pakistan values its relations with Italy and is keen to promote multilateral relations between the two countries, especially strong defense cooperation.
Talwi Chief of Defense Staff appreciated the professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces. He also praised Pakistan’s role in regional stability.
